I started training with Fazlee 5 months ago. I was not overweight to start with, at 52kg. However, throughout my sessions with him, I have learnt so much about my own body, and most importantly, have discovered a strong internal motivation to work hard at improving my overall level of fitness, and well-being. I am now down to 45kg, and most importantly, am extremely pleased with how much better I feel about myself. All my friends have commented about how much more toned and fitter I look. Fazlee pushes hard, but makes it fun throughout the process. Every session with him is a new and invigorating experience. There has never been a dull session with him, ever!

I have since got him to train my two sons, Desmond aged 13 and Dylan aged 11. Desmond has lost 6-7kg in a short 3 months, and feels so much more confident of himself. Working out is not a chore to him anymore, in fact he very much looks forward to every training session, he keeps asking for more! Fazlee has an amazing knack at motivating him to try new activities which I myself could never get him to do previously.

Dylan who swims competitively, has been similarly motivated, as Fazlee is now working at helping him strengthen the key muscles groups to better his swim performance.

Friends who have seen my sons’ transformation in this short period, have been similarly inspired, and are now also training with Fazlee. I am very thankful to have found such a wonderful personal trainer who has motivated me and my boys to a new and healthier lifestyle.

At 45 years old I have been actively running and going to the gym three times a week. But there was a stage in my life that I didn’t do any exercise or sport at all because of medical reasons and I started gaining weight.

I weighed about 60 kg. and my body mass index was up to 30. I was not happy at myself. So I decided to visit a fitness center February 2010. The purpose of the visit was just to check the facilities of the club. I know what a good gym is like, having trained and worked out with my husband who is a health enthusiast himself. When I spoke to the manager at that time, I requested for a personal trainer who’s as tough as my husband.

He looked at me and said “Yes, I will give you the best trainer we have”!

I didn’t really believe him as I know there’s no one who’s as tough a coach as my husband – BUT I signed up for the program anyway!
My first session came and I was expecting a big muscular guy to be my trainer when I noticed a boyish, medium built person with a wonderful smile walking towards me.

“Hey Rachel, I’m Fazlee, your trainer! I thought to myself, no way this kid will be tough on me – BUT I was wrong! Fazlee has proven to me that not everyone with a nice face is a softie! He has been very patient with me since then. I know sometimes he wishes that I would stop talking in between sessions but he tolerates me because he knows I work hard. I have now trained with him for over three years and not only have we developed a training partnership, he also became friends with my husband Ted.

I have been training with Fazlee for three years and made several accomplishments since then. I completed my first Standard Chartered half marathon in December 2009. In March 2010, Ted and I participated as a team in the 70.3 Ironman where I did the 21 km run. I also did my first OSIM mini triathlon in April and another one in May. I mentioned triathlon because a year ago I could not imagine myself participating in this event. But Fazlee taught me about discipline and commitment. He is a great trainer and a friend and I enjoyed working out with him. Now, I am back to 52 kg with a body mass index of 23 and in better shape. I still continue participating in running events and will definitely continue to train with Fazlee.

What I really liked was the variety, we hardly did the same exercise. I can highly recommend training with Fazlee, he is able to motivate and will bring you to the next level.

What started out as a farfetched dream to participate in my first biathlon after months of inactivity has evolved into what could possibly be a lifelong love affair with triathlon. Fazlee inspires me to try new things and challenges me to believe I am capable of better (that’s me, during the bike leg of my most recent tri, less than a year after learning to ride a bike!).

Fazlee is professional, dedicated and personable. Brimming with enthusiasm and always encouraging (“don’t be a girl!”, he tells me), training sessions with Fazlee are never boring and always challenging (read: torturous!). As an experienced personal trainer and triathlete, Fazlee obliges my never-ending training questions and is ever willing to share useful tips on training, nutrition, racing and of course, cool looking gear! With 3 triathlons under my belt and more races in the horizon, I’m feeling faster and fitter than ever! Thanks, boss!

I began training with Fazlee at the start of 2012, to improve my fitness and core strength to help my stamina and speed in playing touch rugby. Six months later my fitness had improved dramatically and I was able to comfortably complete a game of touch rugby without struggling or fatigue. My speed also improved which helped me enjoy each game as I was able to contribute more to the team by switiching to the wing.

In addition to achieving my initial goals of improved fitness and speed the variety of training programmes provided by Fazlee meant I was always challenged with my workouts making it much easier to train 5 to 6 times a week without getting bored. Fazlee’s introduction of TRX training to my workouts enabled me to train while I was working on site in Malaysia for weeks at a time, meaning I did not have to restart my training after each work assignment. In summary, Fazlee is a fantastic Personal Trainer who really takes the time to listen and understand your personal training goals and always provides a number of options for training to keep the training interesting and effective. I would recommend Fazlee to my friends without hesitation for their Personal Fitness training needs

Fazlee has been my personal trainer since 1999 and I have been very happy with the results. He will always push me to achieve my desired fitness aims but he does it in a way that makes it fun and inspires me to push myself. He has a very wide range of training techniques and styles so it never becomes boring. I’ve had other trainers but Fazlee has consistently been the best. Most of all he genuinely cares about his clients and it has been both rewarding and a pleasure to work with him over the years. I have recommended him to several friends and all of them have been very pleased with working with him. One of them even credits Fazlee for helping to reinvent himself from an over weight couch potato to a healthy and fit person.
